Find a garage door pro who actually covers your street

Tell us your ZIP and what's wrong. We put one independent local repair pro in touch with you — not a list of five companies who all call at once. Free for homeowners.

We only list places where a provider is under contract — two metros today, and we'd rather say so than pretend to cover the country.

Do we cover you?

One field. No account, no email, no callback to find out.

We'll tell you straight away whether a pro actually drives to you.

What we get fixed

Garage doors only. It is a narrow trade with its own parts and its own way of going wrong, and a pro who does it every day is worth more to you than a generalist.

How it works

1
You tell us the problem

ZIP code, what's wrong, and how to reach you. About 30 seconds.

2
We match one local pro

We check your ZIP is actually covered, then send your request to a single provider who works there — not to a list of bidders.

3
They call you and quote the job

The pro contacts you directly, looks at the door, and gives you their price. You decide whether to go ahead.

We're a matching service. FindGarageDoorPro connects homeowners with independent local garage door professionals. We don't perform the repair ourselves, we don't employ the technicians, and we don't set their prices. The provider we match you with is an independent business, and your agreement for the work is with them. We're paid by the provider, never by you.

What we don't do

  • We don't perform the repair. We are not a contractor and we employ no technicians. An independent local business does the work, under their own agreement with you.
  • We don't publish prices. We haven't measured them, so any range we printed would be a guess that you would reasonably hear as a promise. The pro quotes you after seeing the door, before any work starts.
  • We don't sell your details. Your request goes to one provider in your area. It does not go onto a list, and it is not resold.
  • We don't pretend to national coverage. If your ZIP has no provider, the form says so instead of taking your phone number.
  • We don't post reviews we can't stand behind. There are none on this site yet, because we have not collected any yet.

Common questions

Who actually comes to my house?

An independent local garage door business. We pass your request to one provider who works in your area and they contact you directly. Your agreement for the work is with them, not with us.

What does this cost me?

Nothing. The service is free for homeowners — we are paid by the provider. The repair itself is priced by the pro, and you get that price before any work starts.

Will five companies start calling me?

No. Your request goes to a single provider. That is the whole difference between this and a lead-broker directory, and it is the reason we ask which metro you are in before anything else.

What if you don't cover my ZIP?

We tell you, and we don't take your phone number. Sending your details to a pro who does not drive to you wastes your afternoon and his fuel.

How fast is it?

During business hours a local pro usually calls back within about thirty minutes, and same-day appointments are common. Exact timing is on the page for your metro, because it differs — a metro you can cross in twenty minutes is not a metro you can cross in an hour. A broken spring with a car shut inside is treated as urgent.
